Reports

[Intro] In this lesson, we’ll be discussing Reports for your app. Let’s get started!

[Manager] Your app provides convenient Reports to help you get into the processes of your business. User Acquisition Reports are commonly the most important.

To view this, let's go to the Platfio Manager tab and click on Reports. Then, click on User.

We have the option to select Define range, which is a list of commonly used ranges for dates when viewing Reports.

Let's say we want to view the report for this financial year. Select Financial Year, then select This Financial Year and click Run. This will allow us to see how many new users have signed up for our app for the current financial year.

We also have an option to select a custom range, say we only want to view how many users have signed up over the last weekend. Let’s select our start and end date, click done, then press search, and it will display the new users for that time frame.

Once we’ve generated a Report, we can click on the Download button at the top right to open the Data Explorer. This allows us to download the report into CSV and do more analytics with it.

Another commonly viewed report is Order Reports. Let's click on Orders.

Just like User Acquisition Reports, we have the option to select Define range to choose a commonly used range.

Let's say we want to view the report for the last quarter. Select quarter, then select last quarter and click run, this will allow us to see the orders we received broken down by the way they were paid.

We also have an option to select a custom range, say we only want to view the orders we received over the last weekend. Let’s select our start and end date, click done, then press search, and it will display the Orders for that time frame.

We also have the option to download this report as a CSV file if we'd like by pressing the download button.

Other Reports that you can view and download include Bookings Report, Subscriptions Report and Forms Report. Just repeat the same process as with the previous ones to generate these.
