BUILD In this video we'll be showing you how to build an application with Platfio. Once you’re ready to build an application, Platfio provides you with a couple of options. You can go into an application, let’s say they have signed their proposal, or we’re gonna build them a demo for their sales solutions call. We can go ahead and press Add App, and if we’re planning to build this app on a platform other than Platfio. For example, we’re going to have a repository hosted on GitHub or we're going to build this with Framer, then press Create. We can paste in the link of the project, and add in instructions. Then launch the application. This is going to provide a seamless way for our team to keep track of where this project is and hand it over nicely. Now, let’s look at how to build an app with Platfio. First, select Platfio as the platform and press create. Give the app a name. Add in a Subtitle and Description. Then select the category, upload an icon, and then, press Build App. The build process typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes. So go ahead and grab yourself some coffee! While the app is building, you can already start setting things up using the wizard! Go back to business, head to Onboarding, and then let’s launch the wizard. It’s recommended that you access the wizard and begin setting up as many of the details of your application as you can. You can prepare your Stripe integration if you want to process payments, set up SendGrid for emails, or Twilio for SMS. Then press Finish. By the time you complete these steps, your application should be ready. Once the build is complete, open your app in the emulator. On first launch, you’ll see the wizard, just complete it and you’ll be ready to start setting up your app. You also have access to extensive lessons and resources to guide you through every feature. Platfio can be a comprehensive tool for marketing, sales and support. You can choose to build, solutions with other platforms, and just provide a convenient link, or you can simply choose to build the application with Platfio, which provides many end-to-end benefits, such as the ability to easily handover the application, to get support requests via the built-in support system, to process payments etc. When your application is set up, you can hand it over to your client through the portal. If you linked an external application, the portal provides a convenient link for your client. If you built the application directly with Platfio, the portal includes a launch button so the client can access their app in the emulator. That’s how you build an application with Platfio!
