QUICKSTART Welcome to Platfio! If you’re an agency looking to grow and operate seamlessly, and effortlessly create fantastic user-friendly apps. Platfio is specifically designed to help you handle every aspect of your business, from marketing, to sales, to building, and support. As an agency your journey begins at the dashboard. If you ever need help, click on Help. From here, you can access resources, lessons, announcements, and inspiration by looking at beautiful applications built with Platfio. You can also book a sales call, return to the homepage to revisit the basics, view pricing for both agencies and applications, or open a support ticket with the Platfio team. Next, you can set up your profile by clicking on Profile. If you are part of multiple agencies, you can use the Agency Switcher to move between them. Finally, under Settings, you can set up more details about your agency. From here, you can also go to Team to onboard additional team members. Every customer journey begins with a lead. For our example, let’s add Jim’s Cafe. We’ll enter details like their website, contact name, email, and phone number. The more complete this information is, the more useful it will be for the AI assistant when you start asking for help. You can also add-in detailed relationship notes about meetings that you have with the business, uploading any files the business sends for your reference, and then creating tasks to track follow‑up activity. Once we have established a relationship with the business, then ideally, the next step is to run a discovery session. Platfio provides a comprehensive app planning tool to help you run discovery. Let’s go ahead and add a plan. We can start first by taking notes of the client’s problems and the solutions you can provide. For Jim’s Café, their challenges are (1) staff efficiency, (2) marketing in quiet season, and (3) premium pricing power. Our solutions are to (1) systematize with an app, (2) remarket with push, email, and SMS, and (3) provide a seamless ordering experience and premium brand. Then from there, we can add personas, user stories, phases, let’s say we're going to deliver this app in one phase. We can go ahead and assign these stories to that one phase. Then we can layout our user flow diagrams. You can also embed UI/UX designs from Figma to help with your app's design. Finally, we prepare the technology stacks like push, email, and SMS. And that’s it! We’ve just provided a simple example to get you started. However, you can always find additional resources on how to get into the details of planning a much more complicated app. Now that we have completed our plan, we can go ahead and generate a proposal. Our AI will then use the plan as a basis for our proposal. While proposals can be built from scratch, it’s best to start from a plan, then generate proposals based on the plan. This allows you to go back and edit the plan, void the proposals, and then tidy it up. Now that our proposal has been created and generated the problems, solutions, personas, stories, phases, design, flows, and recommended tech stacks. We can then select ongoing services to offer, such as maintenance, chat support, training, app store accounts, and upgrades. Then add pricing. Let’s say we’re going to charge him 67 95 for this app and we’re going to charge him 4 99 a month. Next we add in our milestones, and then we've got terms and conditions, we can select one of our existing terms and conditions, and launch the proposal. Once the client accepts, we’re ready to build. To build the app, select Platfio as the platform and press create. Give the app a name. Then we can go ahead and select the category, upload an icon, and then, press build. Platfio’s end‑to‑end system makes it easy to build and deploy apps to the App Store and Play Store. You can watch our detailed lessons on app building for more advanced guidance. After the app is built, mark the lead as a customer and update their stage, for example, to handover. From here, you can send customer portal access so the client can view their app, invoices, support tickets, and account details. Finally, let’s support the customer. If Jim raises a support ticket, you can view it in the ticket manager, respond, and close it once resolved. This process shows Platfio’s full lifecycle: capturing leads, running discovery, planning, generating proposals, building, handing over, and supporting apps in detail. And this only scratches the surface. Platfio also enables you to build marketing funnels with landing pages, automated emails, autoresponders that will take your marketing traffic and directly add them as leads into your agency and then book discovery calls with them, create plans and proposals.
